Portland's third No Kings rally packed Tom McCall Waterfront Park and neighboring Naito Parkway Saturday, with tens of thousands of demonstrators marching up and over the Steel Bridge. The Oregon Capital Chronicle estimated roughly 30,000 people turned out — down from the 40,000 who showed for October's second round. At least 14 separate protests were organized across the metro, with Gov. Tina Kotek speaking alongside labor leaders from AFT, SEIU, AFSCME and more. The daytime march wrapped peacefully around 3:30 p.m. Then, after dark, a separate crowd moved to the ICE facility on the South Waterfront, where reported vandalism and clashes with officers led to three arrests.

Olivia Moultrie of Wilsonville is now the youngest player in NWSL history to score 20 regular season goals — a record previously held by Sam Kerr at age 22. The milestone came via penalty kick in the 53rd minute after Sophia Wilson drew the foul in her first start since returning from maternity leave. Reilyn Turner doubled the lead with a perfectly timed header off a long ball from Jayden Perry. Mackenzie Arnold made her 2026 debut in goal after competing in the AFC Asian Cup with Australia, and kept a clean sheet to seal the 2–0 shutout. Portland is now 3–0–1 and in first place.

About 25,000 single-family homes in Portland will see a roughly 30% jump in their stormwater charges starting July 1 — the final phase of a three-year rate realignment for properties in the city's managed floodplain areas. These customers had historically paid about 35% less than the rest of the city. Now they'll pay full rate. Separately, all Portland water customers will also see a new Flood Safety Benefit Fee added to their utility bills this summer to fund levee and pump station maintenance along the Columbia River.
