The Pickles aren’t canceling games, but First Thursday in the Pearl has been canceled. Congrats to Portland for having the worst air quality in the world yesterday.

A Portland tagger who hit Salt & Straw, Grocery Outlet, PGE and ODOT property finally got her bill. Shelalah Rostami, 29, was sentenced to two years in prison for seven counts of criminal mischief, plus $126,600 in restitution. Her tags, THULA, LADY THUJA, and LADY T, showed up all over town starting in 2022, often spray painted right over murals businesses had paid artists to create. It was her first arrest. Prosecutors say if she tags again after release, she's looking at three more years inside. KOIN

Portland's City Council chambers hit capacity Tuesday as more than 90 people signed up to weigh in on a term sheet that could keep the Trail Blazers here. The pitch: renovate Moda Center with $573 million in public money, in exchange for long term leases and community benefits from the team. Supporters called it an economic lifeline. Others asked why the city can find money for an arena while it just closed six shelters. Council votes on the term sheet August 12. KATU

Portland's air hit "unhealthy" this week, ranking among the worst in the world, but that didn't stop Pickles fans from packing Walker Stadium for one of the season's last games. Fan David Boring wore a mask after skipping the previous night's game over air quality, admitting a headache was already creeping in. Others toughed it out, eyes burning a little. Across town, the Deadstock Run Club swapped its usual Tuesday run for a hangout instead. Relief arrives Friday. KOIN

Eggslut, the LA cult favorite known for its coddled egg sandwiches, has landed a cart at Prost Marketplace on N Mississippi. It's open daily, 8am to 3pm. They have egg sandwiches, truffle hash browns, fresh OJ, and even a wagyu cheeseburger. The reviews on Google are certainly…. mixed.
