Monday cloudy with a high of 62. I keep thinking it’s going to rain. It keeps on not raining. Thousand of Portlanders marched the streets this weekend to say No Kings! in America. I would have joined myself if I wasn’t devouring oysters like a starving person at Hama Hama Oyster Saloon in WA. That place is such an experience! In the news today, the owner of La Mota is in some big trouble. What strain of cannabis do you recommend for something like that? As Wildwood debuts later this week, Powell’s has set up an interactive exhibit. There is an advance screening of Wildwood tonight at a few locations. And Portland Mercury found out which haunted houses are worth your time.

Three haunted houses to try this October
Portland has three big haunted attractions this October, according to the Mercury's reviews. Oaks Park Scaregrounds turns the amusement park into a haunted fairground with a castle, a clown area and a movie-monster maze. The Fear PDX is a five-part walkthrough, from an alien area to a rural cannibal section. Dead Media, a free haunted video store from Mike Bennett Studios, is built for small kids. Scaregrounds runs through November 1, and The Fear PDX through November 7. Portland Mercury
